Mike and Paul Comrie's NHL "firsts"...

Mike Comrie
Mike's first ever NHL goal was scored on January 20, 2001. The Oilers were playing against Detroit and were tied 1-1. Mike skated up to the net and shot it in. His first goal was the winning goal that night.

Mikes first ever assist was against the Nashville Predators. Paul's first ever NHL goal was scored on October 23, 1999. The Oilers were playing the Nashville Predators.  

His first ever game was on Saturday, December 30, 2001. The Oilers played the Montreal Canadiens and won 3-2 in OT.

Mike's first NHL fight came on November 14, 2001 vs. Phoenix. He fought Daniel Briere.

On September 20, 2002 in a pre-season game vs. Vancouver, Mike scored a hat trick! 

Paul Comrie

Paul lead pre-season scoring in 1999. He scored at hat trick vs. Montreal.

Paul's first ever NHL goal was scored on October 23, 1999. The Oilers were playing the Nashville Predators.

Paul's first assist came in only his second game in the NHL. It was on Sean Brown's game winning goal. 

His first ever game was on October 1, 1999. He was able to play his first game on the same night his favourite hockey player, Wayne Gretzky, had his jersey number retired.
