How he became an Oiler: Mike was drafted 91st overall in the 1999 NHL entry draft by the Edmonton Oilers. He signed a 3 year deal on December 30, 2000. The deal is worth up to $10,000,000 dollars.
How he became a Flyer: On December 16, 2003, Mike was traded to Philadelphia for D Jeff Woywitka, a first round draft pick in 2004 and a draft pick in 2005. There is still a contract to be signed.
How he became a Coyote: On February 9, 2004, Mike was traded to the Phoenix Coyotes for Goaltender Sean Burke, right winger Branko Radivojevic, and the rights to the Coyotes first pick in last years draft, Ben Eager.

How he became an Oiler: Paul was traded from the Tampa Bay Lightning along with D Roman Hamrlik on December 30, 1997 for Jason Bonsignore, Bryan Marchment and Steve Kelly. He missed all of the 2000-2001 season due to a concussion that he recieved while playing for the Hamilton Bulldogs.
